A very pleasant hotel with helpful staff, good size rooms, parking facilities and very convenient location. Good value for money.
The airconditioning was so loud and noisy that it was easier to just shut it off and open the window.

All in all it is was and for the room rate it was fine. El Molar is not about the Hostal Azul, it's getting up to the bodegas and experiencing the locals so for that purpose it is fine.
Parking was a waste of time and not able to be changed as I included it in the reservation, so if you are in El Molar during a normal week, it isn't really necessary to book, unless you particularly want your car off the street. Shower not the greatest - could use a new shower head and fixing of the sliding doors so they meet. Tv is tiny.

The updating of the room and the quality of the furnishings. The attentiveness of the receptionist.
The charge of 8€ per night for undercover parking.

The restaurants and bars in the caves above the town
The A/C was switched off because they said it got very cold at night (October 1st). Not if you're a Brit it didn't.

This hostal is very well situated close to the motorway for travelling through Spain - north to south- or visiting Madrdid without staying in Madrid. We were travelling through thud did nothing but wander around village to have a drink.

Ideal location for overnighting if travelling from Northern Ports to South of Spain. Very helpful and friendly staff with a good and varied Continental breakfast. The room was quite acceptable, as were the public areas. Most importantly they have totally secure and cctv covered parking for your car, motorbike or van. Important if you have items of value on board, or you are taking stuff to your holiday home. Try the Pizza Restaurant three doors down if you arrive late: Excellent!
Not really a location for a long break or holiday, although the Town is quite busy, it offers little for a longer break.
